Meeeeowy Dearest

Last night NTC went to bed without a goodie snack because she refused to eat her dinner.

I know that she will eat a few bites during the night and the plate is usually empty in the morning, but she still cannot have snacks until she stops throwin fits and eats when she should instead of begging for pizza.

This morning, I can't tell if she ate her breakfast or if that was RTC chowin down on it. So her favorite snack is waiting for her (an organic chicken liver) when she cleans her plate.

Because the Chicken Liver is raw and came out of a frozen chicken I do not want to re-freeze it and she won't eat the liver cooked. So I've got a short window of good cat snackin time before it goes to waste. That Organic Chicken was EXPENSIVE! I'm not in the mood or position to waste any of it. It's a healthy snack but I know if I give it to her she'llgobble it up and go on refusing to eat until she gets what she wants.

So this is what I found happening today-
  • NTC comes into the kitchen looking to share my breakfast. I point my finger to her plate and say "GO EAT"

  • NTC finds me sitting down eating breakfast, hoping for a hand out. I point in the direction of her plate and say "GO EAT"

  • NTC finds me in the bedroom and snuggles up to me, I smell her breath, I point to the door and say "GO EAT"

  • NTC comes out of the 2nd bedroom from a Nap and comes to me looking for a snack. I immediatly say "GO EAT" without pointing. She just stands there and stares at me. I hear this coming out of my mouth...

"EAT! EAT! Go EAT! EAT! You're HUNGRY You're HUNGRY! Your Momma Says You're HUNGRY! " (I watch waaaaay to much TV)
