Doing it on all fours!

Today after coming home from the Farmers Market I could tell I stressed out my back with the produce dept. I was dragging around in my backpack and both arms.
Relaxing did not help and each time I tried to get up it got harder until I could not stand up at all without being incredibly uncomfortable. Soooooo whatta ya do when you gotta piddle and ya cant walk? Doggie Style Baby! I was able to make it to the bathroom by crawling on all fours. Now the only reason why I'm even putting this on my blog is to tell you about my wonderful support group I have. The kitties really take notice when I'm not feeling well and they snap into action. Ronald the Cat (RTC) saw me struggling to get up and got up with me and escorted me to the bathroom. As I was on all fours crawling, he walked slowly in front of me as if he was one of those vehicles that drive in front of a double wide trailer home on the freeway. I was able to pull myself up slowly on the vanity in the bathroom and take care of business, but standing was very very painful sooooo I slowly made my way back to the coleman mattress, hunched over but on my feet. I laid down and closed my eyes for awhile. Let me show you what I saw when I opened my eyes.
I'm so glad the camera was right there. NTC had positioned herself above my head on a moving box behind me and was watching over me. Not to be outdone. I looked to my right and there is a very concerned looking Ronald the Cat.

Dr. Ronald is know laying by my side tickling my back with his tail and offering a heavy dose of purrrrrr therapy. I have given him notice that I'm about to piddle my fur so it's time to role off the coleman and get back on all fours.

***** A special hug goes out to my Mommy for answering my cries for help and will be priority mailing me some gingeroot. I have not been able to find any in the last 6 weeks here. Thanks for the Mommaluv!

Wow oh Wow what nice pals you have! When I was in labour with my son, almost five years ago, our cat Maddy(who we had just gotten a few months before) follwed me from room to room and when I stopped, she stopped. When I sat on the couch, she sat with me, her paw on my lap, gently kneading.

It kind of creeped me out, considering I wasn't very close to her(she is my hubby's cat more than mine)but still, I think it proves they are very perceptive and do have SOME kind of respect for their human buddies.

Such CUTE picts!

Shelter Cats are the feline version of Mother Theresa.

NTC (Nikki the Cat) has never been in a shelter and it's taken her about 15 years not to act like a princess 24/7.

RTC did some cat jail time was adopted and brought back to the pound when he got sick. That's when I found him. I think he has a better appreciation of hard times and gratefully returns the favor.
