Why I refuse to be like them

Definition of them: Anyone who feels it necessary to bring someone down JUST so they can feel better about themselves.

I'm sure it wouldn't take a second for anyone reading this, to think of a person who has made it their mission to make your life difficult. They wear on you tire you out, some even manage to suck the life out of you if you let them. Well, I'm here to say... I'm tick free! I no longer give these people in my life any care. I once thought the answer was a new Mantra, whenever this person would irritate me I would just say "GOOD FOR YOU" only I would know, I actually meant
"Go Fu_k Yourself" Well that didn't work. I couldn't bring myself to do it. It was mean spirited and bad energy and now whenever I hear someone say to anyone "Good For You" whether it be in person or on TV I can't help but hearing "Go Fu_k Yourself" lmao.

So here's my answer to my problem... This person is just passing through my life, she may try and make it miserable but she can't if I don't let her. I made it an everyday effort to be kind to this "girl" it only seems to piss her off. Oh Well! Not going to lose any sleep over why I shouldn't be nice to someone.

Last night on my way home from work I had to drop a priority mail envelope off at the post office. The post office is about 4 blocks from work and I'm draggin my ass there thinkin "Wow I bet if I lost some weight I would'nt be draggin my ass...

I go inside the Post Office and there is 1 older gentleman at the counter. I walk up and in the most cheerful voice I had available I said "Helllllllllllllllooooo"
Postman: "Grrrrrr Hello"
Me: "Do you have a smile for me? Because that's the only language I speak"
Postman: {Smiles} "It's been a long day, and it's almost over"
We continue to chat for several minutes and eventually I have to think about leaving this enjoyable conversation because there is 2 people waiting in line now, so I thank him for his help and wish him a good evening and walk away...
I'm almost to the door and he yells out "Goodnight! And thank you for your wonderful personality" OMG!!!!
I am now 10 long blocks away from the bus transfer station but my feet and legs feel like air! I half bounced and half flew those 10 blocks to the bus!

It is amazing what a kind word will do!

I met a lady opening her "gently loved" retro clothing store this morning (I was reading the news paper article describing her shop that was posted on her door) and she said with a big smile "Good morning Starflower!" or maybe it was Starshine... or something else equally as cutesy...

Anyways, it made me smile big big :D
