BAD RONALD!

The weather this past week has been pretty wacky.

Saturday- A beautiful start to Fall, nice and cool with some wacky windgusts that threaten to blow the farmers market into next spring.

Sunday-Winter is threatening with rain and moning temps down to 34.

Monday-Forecast is for slushy snow at 7000 ft we are @ 6100ft

Tuesday- Morning low was 34 with the windchill and the day warmed up to a Spring like 74

Wednesday- it's 10:30 am and it's already 77 degrees!

Well Ronald must have gotten a little Spring Fever last night, WerewolfI had fed them out on the balcony and he decided that he liked the option of running in and out, so I left the screen door open, since we got our first cold snap I've had to drag him out to get some fresh air. Plus he knows he is not suppose to jump upon the divider between the neighbors, so going out on the balcony is not as fun as it used to be. Everytime I caught him jumping the divider (it's high) I would say "BAD RONALD! Bad Bad Ronald! Cat 15 and the funny thing is, that he would immediatly come inside with his tail between his legs and wait to see what i would do. One time I said "Go to your room!!!" and HE DID!! OMG Laugh I think I just put my cat on restriction!!!

Well last night I was hanging out on the Coleman and watching Big Brother 8 (brain cells forgive me now) and Ronald kept running in and out and would come in and lay down beside me in between trips outside. It was getting late and it was cooling down fast so I left Ronald on the Coleman and went to go lock up for the night. I had gone out on the balcony to get one more wiff of this weird Pine-sol Minty smell that has appeared since the cold snap (very weird smells more like cleaning day than "outwest") anyway came back in and locked up. It's not unusual for RTC to sleep in his favorite (unpacked) box out in the livingroom so I was not surprised not to see him in the bedroom.
Loooooong story short. I woke up at 3:30 this morning minus 1 cat. I look in all his favorite places no RTC. I opened the balcony and up from the other side jumps BAD RONALD!Cat 15

It was about 40 windy degrees Windy and there was RTC balancing on the divider about 15 feet off the balcony deck. He's confused, happy he was found but knew he was in trouble! I bit my tongue and did not "BAD RONALD"! him and he came down from the ledge and ran into the house.
For the next several hours I had a very grateful kitty curled up next to me warming up.
It appears my Cousin Terry was right all these years. (Very cold cat= Very friendly cat)

The screen door is closed today!
