May 25 Watch the Phoenix Spacecraft land on Mars!
The University of Wyoming Outreach School, Office of Community Enrichment Programs, and the Wyoming Space Grant Consortium are sponsoring a free Mars landing event in Laramie. The NASA Phoenix Spacecraft is landing on Mars on Sunday, May 25th, to study Martian water and habitability. We will watch the landing live on NASA Internet TV, and there will be fun and educational information about Mars science and exploration for people of all ages and backgrounds.

May 26 Opening Day @ Texas Trail Museum - Pine Bluffs
Come out and see the NEW Texas Trail Museum, featuring our opening day display - Tracks Across Wyoming, in our refurbished Lobby, or visit with well-known Quilter Jane Adams, of Laramie and examine her beautiful quilts. Picnic on the two acre Green behind the Museum afterwards. Hot Dogs will be cooked to order by the Knights of Columbus, and served with soft drinks, while the kiddies enjoy our playground and a hands-on tipi and Farmer Brown display in the nearby Agriculture and Transportation Building.
