Baby Beaver is fitting in well, RTC is still a bit cautious and growls and hisses at times, but, I saw him nose to nose with her last night. I do believe he is turning into a chubby chaser! GOOD FOR YOU RTC! Now start chasing her around so she can shed a few lbs.
Baby Beaver is making herself at home. Despite her girth, I have found out she loves to spend time in and empty dry bathtub and bite at the water when turned on slowly. She follows me into the bathroom, she crawls in bed with me, last night she layed in front of me and spooned :0)
(I'm sure I'll save on the heating this month with a 19 lb blubbery beaver ball snuggled up against me)
Baby Beavers Butt is really clearing up nicely. I think the shelter thought they were doing her some good by putting diaper rash ointment on it, but all it did was keep it raw and give her the runs. Just a fews days off the ointment and a nice butt bath with warm water and soft washcoth has done wonders. I took a video the other night of the bathing process. Why? Because, she makes this hilarious sound of a cold car trying to start up everytime I do it!
With her making that noise and me laughing so hard I couldn't do anything but snort the whole thing was really quite amusing!!!
I'm currently trying to teach her NTC's trick of "Show me your belly" she's catching on sort of... I say "Beaver! Show me your belly!" and rolls to one side and grunts!
Baby Beaver... I know NTC would be proud that you joined the family and are keeping us amused.
