It had to be done

Tonight was our Christmas Parade Downtown and I figured being my first, I better go. I was originally planning on goin with my neighbor, but talking with her this morning she thought it would be toooooo cold. I tell ya there was a few moments that I thought snuggled in a warm bed watching it on TV would be better but I sucked it up and caught the last bus into town.

Did I say into town? The bus driver forgot to tell us he would/could not be going into town because all the streets in that area were blocked for the parade. In true Wyoming style he bent the rules and got me as close to the parade route as possible.

My seat for the parade was a cement planter filled with snow, sitting next to a lovely woman who has lived in Cheyoming for 40 years, she treated me to a cup of hot chocolate and it was a blast watching her wave and shout "Mery Christmas" to all the "floaters" The temp was 29 with a windchill of 15 and it wasn't long till I added a sweatshirt on top of my turtleneck.

Are my eyeballs frozen yet?

Random Cuteness watching the parade

Why this pic? She's hula hooping in a T-shirt. It's 15 degrees!!!!!

IT'S FROSTY!!!!

My personal favorite #1 because T- I - double grrrrrrrr -R "Tigger" was on the float but also because everytime this flame was turned on the immediate area warmed to about 80 degrees
Most of my pics didn't turn out because my camera does not like all those lights, but any guy willing to wiggle into a horsey costume needs his pic taken.

There was a craft fair at the Plains hotel today. I'm pretty much starting all over from scratch so, it was time to buy my first Christmas in Wyoming ornaments. (I have not had a tree in years) so it's time for a good old fashioned Country Christmas Tree.

The kitties were concerned that Santa Cat would not be able to find them, so I got them this for the front door.

Here's the first ornament for the tree!

Well my Coleman has sprung another leak. It's time to go blow up the reserve and get tucked in for the night. NIGHTY NIGHT!
