Your brain is likely to be working overtime, Babbles. Things may have been going along just fine, but suddenly you have run into an unexpected snag that is holding you back from where you want to be. It is as if the hamster wheel that you have been running in has suddenly jammed.

Today was an interesting day.
Money that I feared was lost, was found. I walked over to the bank this morning and made a deposit. It was 50 degrees outside and the winds were blowing at 48 mph. I was early to the bus stop and I got blown around a bit before a neighbor walked up. We discussed Wyoming Wind and bad hair days, her hair was short and put up a good fight. My hair was in a pony tail that would bitch slap the sides of my head at will.
I needed to go downtown to get the kitties some wheat grass. It's been a rough few days for them well RTC anyway he, like most spoiled kitties will only eat what he wants. I ran out of his canned food and explained nicely to him that if he didn't waste so much food he wouldn't have to eat dry food for breakfast. I later reminded him of the time he spent in Foster Care ( Cat Jail) He didn't have the luxury of snubbing his nose at that food.
All (6) of the buses here go in circles hourly and you can only transfer at one point (The transfer station downtown) which happens to be on the same street as the Wheat grass. The buses have a 15 min. layover and I thought I would have just enough time to go grab some grass and get back to board the bus. The woman at the juice shop was generous and gave me plenty of grass and chatted that she brings grass home for her pet crab? I thanked her and as I exited I heard her exclaiming to a co-worker "I'm Not Weird" !!!! heh heh!
I got to the bus just in time to wave BYE BYE! to it as it passed. You can flag down any route bus here in the city and they will stop and pick you up, but only if it is safe to pull over. The street I was on was tiny street full of parked cars nowhere for the bus to pullover so no ride for Babbles.
I had 45 min. to blow before the next bus came so I went to do a little Mattress window shopping, that's where I fell in love!

To Be Continued.....
Part 2- I was so tired yesterday I decided to continue this story today.
Ahhhh Hell! A day has past and this story is not so amusing anymore. Key points
Caught later bus to grocery store to get much needed cat food. The Curb to Curb bus I ordered the day before was to pick me up at the store at 2:40 Since I missed the first bus going to the store the next bus dropped me off 8 min. before the other bus was to pick me up. I ran in the store zooomed through the isles i needed and made it to the finish line ALMOST!
My debit card was declined hruuumph I had just deposited several hundred $$ in 3 hours ago. I even showed her the bank receipt. grrrrumph Good thing I had SOME cash but not enough for the whole order.... so we started to play the game... "take this back " Oh No not this... this, this, this, NOT THE ORGANIC ICE CREAM!!! I've had a rough day... I deserve that!
Little did I know while all this is going on.... the bag bo is trying to slip me a $20.00 bill so I can pay for the whole order. I only found that out after, when he called me over and with a very concerned whisper inquired if I had the $3.00 needed for the bus. I was so tickled that #1 he would try to slip me money #2 that he was so concerned about my ride home.
I LOVE WYOMING!
and yes my bus did leave without me. But I still had my bus pass for when another bus came along. There much more to this story like when the bus driver came back for me and refused the candybars I went back and bought for him. So I tried to sell the sizzle when I said... "sooooo if your not in the mood for a candy bar.... how about a lovely can of Organic Corn!
I made him giggle. My job is done!
